The old building needs serious updates!!! The hot water heat didn't work!!! Wi-Fi was disappointingly slow, which is frustrating when trying to plan trips!!!

During my stay, I enjoyed a fantastic view of the lake and loved the proximity to Crescent Beach Boardwalk, which made my city strolls even more enjoyable. the staff were friendly, and the breakfast offered numerous options to start each day right.

Scenic Shore Inn is a hidden gem! The outdoor dining area vibe is chill, perfect for enjoying meals surrounded by nature. We also loved the clean, thoughtfully appointed Queen Room with Sea View—so many delightful touches! Plus, the beautiful prairie behind the inn offers a stunning backdrop for leisurely strolls.

However, points off for no towel rack by the sink, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, we found some nearby restaurants that closed early, so dining options were limited.

The indoor pool was my favorite! It had a nice, private vibe for family fun time. The room was mostly clean but the lack of towel rack was a bit inconvenient. 😕

My family loved the cozy room we had with a balcony overlooking the lovely Lake Michigan. The kids had a blast at the pool, which was well-kept, and we all enjoyed delicious breakfast options every morning. My brother joined us too!

My kids wished for more dining options nearby.

The well-maintained pool was a hit with the kids, complete with toys and activities. The location provided quick access to nearby beaches, and the quiet prairie out back was a lovely surprise, perfectly mowed for strolls. However, the initial room in the older building had heating issues, and the Wi-Fi speed was disappointing. Also, the shower setup could be better accommodated for those needing ADA compliance.

The Queen Room with Balcony was spotless and comfy. I loved the extra touches like coffee pods and recycling bins in the room. The patio outside was a nice spot to relax. Even the bedding was attractive and washable, which is a bonus! No complaints about the cleanliness at all—it felt super maintained. The only thing I wished for was maybe a tad more space, but it’s nothing major. Overall, really good vibes in the room!
